Love this. Every seven years you're a new human. It would seem the only thing that is constant is change and I think there's a great freedom in this. We sometimes think our lives are stagnant but if we take a moment to look back, we can see how much we've changed and therefore what we might be capable of in the future.

Thanks for this 👏

Sean, I am glad you enjoyed this text. The change takes time, but if we are consistent, it is possible to achieve a completely new mental state.

Love this Tomas…what you say about creating a lighting strike situation..I can feel the power in it. Reminds me of the tower card in the tarot which people usually hate to see, but it unlocks so much energy & vitality.

Tara, thank you for reading! I have noticed that every time when it looks that life is boring and some sort of apathy develops, the best thing is to shake it to the core. It always looks like it is the world that is boring, but it is only a state of our minds that got too cushy and comfortable. I would love to hear more about the tower card!

Love that advice🙂 2 powerful things about the tower:

1. It represents a prison- a place where the air is stale, we’re in a tiny isolated room high above the ground, not in touch w/ reality. In this prison we can no longer expand, where we have creative blocks, and we feel stuck. Tower coming down is a liberating experience. Being FREED from the prison.

2. The tower is a false temple. The structure stands on a shaky foundation. In some decks called ‘folly’ because of how foolishly it was built- all from the ego and a false identity. The tower coming down represents truth/ reality. The shocking truth that we were worshiping the wrong thing. Meeting the TRUE TEMPLE.

Tara, thank you for expanding on the tower metaphor. As an architect I find these semantics very valuable and enriching my perspective on this structure.

I like the focus on ingraining the change onto our lives. That's when change is the most vulnerable at first. The intention to change is delicate and can be swept by the winds of reality if not grounded correctly. What helped me to ground the seeds of change (agnostic to what the change is about) was consciously introducing "pegs" between my life and my desired life. For change to survive the initial phases you need to start enabling the edges of your life to brush around the edges of the change you want to see.

Jan, thank you for sharing your experience. Indeed, making the highs of your desired reality permanent is the the real "work" and requires becoming more conscious about your daily experiences.
