Lynda, I am very glad that you resonate with this! It takes life experience and free spirit to grasp these ideas and now that I know your background a little bit, I can see that you became wise during those solo trips and life that you have lived in general. I would love to do more solo tripping in the future as well, as I have realised the transformative effects of it.
I can relate in a big way having been into punk rock from an early age in the 80s railing against corporate America among many other things. I have since expanded my musical taste, which is quite eclectic but most of it is older music. I’m hard pressed to find new music with depth, soul and passion. It’s a journey and while I have found some, I still hark back to what are now considered old tunes.
It’s hard to stand up for what you believe in the face of adversity. And it only seems to get harder as the nuance is lost and people get more polarized.
Rasmus, thank you for reading. I absolutely agree on this. It was always hard, however, I believe more common back in a day. Keeping the flame of it these days is such an important thing.
I wholeheartedly concur with your conclusion.
To live an authentic life takes courage,
and a bit of luck!☘️💃💥
But it’s sooooo worth it!
I almost lost my life several times during risky solo travel in 70 countries.
At 70, I’m so lucky to be alive!

YES to free-roamin’ travel!
To quote that truism, travel is the only thing
you buy that makes you richer!
May you feel free!🤸♂️🙏💃
Cheers to the travel!☕
True
A much needed antidote of a message - and beautifully written. Thank you Tomas!
Thank you, Zan!

Glad that you relate to this the same way. And thank you for reading!

It’s an important reminder to give.

I believe the same. As the access we have to others has increased the pressures to be like them has followed.
The only way to live it to the fullest!!
100% my brother!
