" When at a networking event I do not wait for people to come to me or friends to introduce me to their other friends at a party, but approach the ones I find interesting. And it feels empowering! After this, I want to talk to people. It increases with each interaction. Sometimes it is hard for me to leave the party or a networking event. And not because I am wasted, I do not consume alcohol or drugs. But because I am high on meeting people."
People energize me. I think that's why I loved my career as a hairstylist and now as a owner of a pet sitting business. I was constantly meeting new people and forging relationships. There is a "high" with that for sure. I consider myself an introvert as for the way I like to unwind. I need the down time to write, day dream and decompress, ask my husband if I don't have that time to decompress, I'm not much fun to be around. I value my down time and that's what I need so I am an introvert that loves people
Jane, thank you for reading ant sharing your perspective on this. I resonate with what you said a lot. People energise me as well, but only because I choose to be around them when I want, and when I don't I love to enjoy solitude by doing my things. The balance here is very important and at the same time very individual and depends on a person. What is more I find the power to control your level of interaction really do make you enjoy people much more. Cheers and greetings from Vilnius! ☕
"high on meeting people" ... I know that feeling :)
The best feeling in the world!

So true. There are people that drain me. I have to chose my interactions wisely
100%. Coinsidence or not, but I am writing a text about this at the moment.
